Haul: Taiwan

Hi guys!

I am going to share my Taiwan Haul today! Well, unlike my May 2012 Taiwan Haul, this July haul is a virtual one in that I wasn't physically in Taiwan. I mentioned in my previous post that online shopping in Taiwan is so convenient, you just need to set up an account (super fast and easy, they don't ask for too detailed information), add the items to your cart and choose the convenience store you want to pick up your items from and that is all! You don't have to pay anything until you collect your goods.

Some of the online shopping websites that I have tried before:
Payeasy
Pchome
Naruko
Kingstone

Let me know if you guys want more detailed write up on the steps for the above websites!
The items came in neatly packed boxes (my bro threw them away cos it was too bulky :( I like receiving the boxes because it's like getting presents!). I did asked him to help me take pictures of the packages first to show you guys :)

Naruko Package 1 and Payeasy packages
 Naruko Package 2
 Kingstone Package

So here are my hauls! :)

Naruko

1) Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Whitening Mask
2) Marjoram and Lavender Brightening Eye Cream
3) Rose & Snow Fungus Classic Hydrating Night Gelly
4) Narcissus Total Defense Night Eye Gelly
5) Raw Job's Tears Supercritical CO2 Whitening Night Eye Gelly
6) Naruko Facial SPA Massage Cotton Pads
7) Taiwan Magnolia Whitening and Brightening Mask

Taiwan Magazines

Magazines Freebies

Beautymaker Starry Eyeshadow/Liner Pencil
Agnes B. EyeShadow
The mini tub on the right is an Agnes B. rose moisturiser mini sample which is an add-on (NT1)

Deary Shea Butter Nourishing Repaired Lip Balm
One of my all time favourite lip balm, gotta stock it up!

Not a lot of stuff but they are pretty heavy, especially the magazines haha! The magazines are around half the price of what you get in Kinokuniya, there's freebies as well! I ordered the magazines from Kingstone which is priced slightly lower than retail. It saves time to hunt for the mags. A point to note though, freebies varies according to different convenience stores and bookstores. For example, for the same magazine you bought in 7-11 and Family Mart, the freebies are different.

Well do a review on the products soon!~

Haul: Taiwan Trip

I made a trip to Taiwan recently and was just back a week ago. I hauled back quite a number of makeup and skincare items on top of clothings and shoes. Burst my budget but oh well, isn't this the purpose of my trip? x)

I spent $100 over even before I embark on my trip. Yes, it is from the PAYEASY website! The website is currently celebrating its anniversary and many brands were having special promotions and discounts. Members(ME!) were given NT30 credit to spend and for certain brands, a minimum NT300 spent gives you NT100 off. This discounts requires a set of individual codes that can only be used once. On top of that, I have NT200 worth of credits from my December (Year End Sales Promotion period) buys. It works like this, in 3 tier: NT1500 spent, you get NT150 credit. NT2000 spent, you get NT 200 credit. NT 2500 spent you get NT250 credit. So its like 10% off. I spent a little over NT2000 last December so i got NT200 credit. So even before I make my purchase, I already enjoy 'savings' of NT330 which is equivalent to around S$15!

Since the website is celebrating its anniversary, it has the 3 tier promotion credits as well. I burst the limit of NT2500 and during the trip itself, I made purchases using the wifi in my hotel again! delivery was around 2-3 working days so I could collect them before I fly off.

Here are my payeasy hual!

1. Vin Vin Ultra Rich Hydrating Cream (Promotion: NT 599 for 3)
2. Vin Vin Hyaluronic Acid Repair Gel x 2 sets (Promotion: NT 599 for 3)
3. Skincology Advanced Hydrating Lip Essence NT249
4. Skincology Advanced Hydrating Serum II (Promotion: NT199)
5. Beauty Hair Spicy Volume Liquid Wax NT280
6. Beauty Hair Vitalistic Sorcery Daytime Spray NT350
7. Beautymaker Magic Concealer x 3 sets (Promotion: NT199 each)
8. Beautymaker Eye Base/ Concealer Pot NT380 (Promotion: Buy 2, get 23% off)
9. Beautymaker Magic Compact Duo NT380 (Promotion: Buy 2, get 23% off)
10. Beautymaker Eye Make up Remover x 2 sets (NT 250 each, 20% off)
11. Beautymaker New York Limited Series Vivid Scribbling Makeup Palette (Free! From buying too much stuff LOL! Retail: NT399)

TOTAL: NT 2944 after discount = S$130!

I also bought a Jill Stuart Pancake Foundation NT1250 , KATE super sharp liner, Marjolica Majorca Mascara (not in photos)

Envie De Neuf Platinum Cell White Exfoliating Gel x 2 sets (NT2000 for 2)

Etude House Collagen Eye Masks x 6, Green Tea Nose pack x 12, Black Charcoal Chin Pack x 9
Etude House was celebrating its 4th Anniversary in Taiwan so there were quite a number of promotions going on. every NT1000 spent entitles you to a NT200 credit voucher. Masks were going on a 'buy 3 free 3 promotion'. Which means it is actually 50% off plus another 20% rebate in voucher form. However the NT200 voucher can only be used on regular priced item which explains the additional 3 Chin packs that I bought at the regular price of NT30 for one.

Last but not least, My Beauty Diary Masks!

Will show more of the stuff contents when I do the product reviews! Stay tuned :)

Haul: Beautymaker

Hi everyone! The purpose of this blog is to share the make-up and skincare products that i have used before. I am not affiliated to any brands and all products are bought with my own money.
Feel free to give any comments!
So, I'm going to kick start this blog with a hual post from Beautymaker. Beautymaker is a taiwanese brand by a famous make-up guru, Kevin. He has another skincare line called vinvin but i have yet to try it out yet. So yes, Beautymaker products can only be bought in Taiwan from a website called payeasy. There are some online sellers in Singapore as well but the prices are pretty much jacked up.
Was skeptical about this brand at first but after trying its eye circles concealing pen, i totally fell in love with it! I was amazed how well the colour blends with my skin. Totally regretted only buying one item during my trip to taiwan in Feb 2011. My friend happened to be spending her hols in taiwan and i went crazy shopping online and bought S$100 worth of beautymaker products!
The products shown below are what i have gotten my hands on but not yet tried on. Will do a separate review next time. Here goes~
3 big packs of Beautymaker products! The other pack is a pair of slimming socks.
Shall show it next time :)
Its really worth it right? S$100 for so many stuffs!!
1) Professional Brush Set (7 pcs) NT499
There is actually a plastic covering the case of the brush set.
A few colours and materials to choose from. I chose elegant black which was quite a hot seller as it was out of stock for quite a while.
The zip: love how detailed the workmanship is despite the low price.
The seven brushes are: Powder/Complexion Brush, Blush Brush, Eyeshadow Blending Brush, Smudge Brush, Eyeshadow Crease Brush & Double-Ended Eyebrow Brush.
2) Aqua Eye Concealer - NT300
A much raved product after seeing quite a number of online reviews, eager to use it soon!
Hope it helps my dark eye circles!
3) Bright Eye Pressed Powder - NT330
There is this little white heart for you to pull out the box.
There's an applicator brush inside as well.
The white powder is meant to set your eye concealer and brighten up the eye area.
4)Perfect Concealer Set - NT399
This set comes with the concealer and a concealer brush.
The concealer brush
The concealer stick. The packaging looks like a lipstick.
5) Trio Lip Colour Palette - NT399
The box is bubble wrapped which is really considerate of them. The lip palette is place inside a black velvet pouch. Once again, love their packaging!
The exterior design of the palette. Filled with hearts and kisses.
The colours are somewhat similar in different shades. The second colour from the top is shimmery and can be applied on the pout for fuller looking lips.
6) Eye Make-up Remover -NT 1 each
These were bought as an add on. Every transaction you make entitles you to purchase an add on at a special rate and this add on changes time to time. Saw a review from a taiwanese artiste in her book that this make-up remover is so gentle that Kevin even dared to applied it into his eyes.
Amazed by its content. I think its a mixture of oil and water. The left one is at its original form, 2 layers can be seen. While the right one is after i shook it. It appears bluish and looks as if it sparkles.
Well, this is all for my Beautymaker Haul. Will do a review after i tried them.
Next up will be a haul post as well, from a korean brand - Laneige
STAY TUNED! :)
