Review: Ettusais Peeling Milk

Hi guys! I'm reviewing the Ettusais Peeling Milk today. I started using Ettusais like 3 years ago when my skin was acne-prone with pimples on my forehead. Their products did work and I will probably review them sometime later. So as a member, every $200 spent entitles you to a $10 product voucher. The peeling milk cost $26 and I paid $16 after the voucher.

It is advised to exfoliate 2-3 a week, but I do it just 1-2 times a week. This peeling milk is mildly acidic and has a milky texture.

As advised by Ettusais:
1. Apply to clean and dry skin
2. Use a cherry size amount (2cm in diameter) and apply while avoiding areas around eyes, eyebrows and lips.
3. 30 second rule: Massage in circular motions for only 20 seconds.
( I always exceed it because somehow I will feel that I missed out an area or two) Nevertheless, keep it short to avoid over-exfoliating and causing too much friction on the skin.

White bits will start to appear and if you look closely, it is actually greyish so there is where the unwanted dead skin cells go to!

I personally advise to exfoliate in the morning so your skin will look bright and fresh. Remeber to resume your usual skincare routine and moisturise as the skin tends to get dry after exfoliation.

This peeling milk is reasonble for normal to oily skin types as it does remove the excess oil but skin feels a little tight after that, that is why moisturiser needs to come in.

I wouldnt really advise it for sensitive skin (like mine) due to its acidic nature. I have since stopped using it after the Envie De Neuf Taiwan SA said that it is too harsh for my skin which is quite thin already. She advised me to use those gel-like texture ones which is less harsh. So I am now using the remaining peeling milk on my knees and elbows to brighten them.

RATING: 3.5/5
Will I Repurchase: No

Update: I just hauled back some Curel Skincare products and is so excited to start using them as it is the Japan's No1 brand for Asian Senstive Skin.

Next review coming up soon!
