Review: SK-II Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser

Hi guys!

I am reviewing my all-time favourite cleanser today- SK-II Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser!

I have used many brands of facial cleansers before, from pharmacy brands like Bio-essence and Avene to counter brands like Laneige and my favourite got to be this cleanser from SK-II.

As you all know, SK-II is a high-end brand and their prices are forever increasing. My aunt recommended my mum to this brand and my mum has since used this brand for 2 years. I know prices online or at those cosmetics shop at the heartland areas offer a cheaper price but my mum and I prefer to purchase over the counter in the departmental stores because of their excellent service and refund policy. My mum and I sort of have our 'preferred' SA now, who call on us when there is any promotion going on. I am a sucker when it comes to friendly SA and I always end up buying something. I must really compliment SK-II's SA as they are really well-trained across the counters. The worst ones are from Laneige and Ettusias who thinks students like me can't afford their products and sad to say, I am members of this 2 brands. -.-

Alright enough rantings and back to the main lead, SK-II Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser.
My mum bought the big tube (120g) while I uses the smaller tube (20g) which comes free with minimum purchases of SK-II products.

120g

20g size

This is actually an improved formula and works just as well. It contains a concentrated form of its renowned Pitera and mild treatment essence. There is a light rose scent which I really like because its not overwhelming and smells heavenly. The reason why this is my favourite cleanser is because it does not leave any tight feeling at all and at the same time, cleans my skin really well.

It doesn't bubble up very well using bare hands so if you want bubbles, you may need the bubble foaming ball (is that what it is called?).

When I cleanse my face, I will do some massaging at the same time, going around my face in circular motions. This helps to ensure dirt are removed from the pores as well. I will then wash off my face and dab my face dry using a piece of tissue paper as I feel that using a towel is harsh on my sensitive skin.

RATING: 4.5/5
Will I Repurchase? Yes. But I may try on other brands such as EVE LOM which I heard good reviews about.
