Haul: Laneige and Etude House Korea

Hi guys! Today I am going to share about my Laneige haul :)

I got to know Laneige through its very famous Water Sleeping Pack. Heard many great reviews so I joined in the rave as well. Thus, I bought a Water Sleeping Pack in Aug 2011 in Singapore. I was quite satisfied with the product as my skin feels really smooth the next morning. Though the fragrance was one of the key features, I could really do away with it as I have a really sensitive nose that doesnt respond really well to artifical fragrance.

At that time I was still using my other skincare products such as Ettusias, La-roche posay and SK-II. So the WSP was just a supplement. When I was nearly finished/wanted to change my skincare routine, my aunt told me she was going Korea in dec. As a fan of laneige products herself, I asked her to help me bring back nearly a full range of laneige products for me, which is so much cheaper in Korea.

Water Sleeping Pack_EX
Water Bank Essence
It absorbs very fast, but I feel that it is a little too thick. So you have to spread it real fast before your face absorbs the essence. I prefer SK-II's Facial Treatment Repair C though, it absorbs very fast and it is not as thick.
Water Bank Moisture Cream
This cream is for normal to dry skin. So if your skin is not very dry, I recommend to try the gel base instead and it is not that thick and oily. For this cream, use a small amount will do and after application, place your warm palms on your face to aid aborption. If this moisturiser do not get absorbed, the surface of the skin will feel oily.
White Plus Renew Eye Serum
Bought this eye care in the hope of lightening my dark circles. Not much effects till now. As it contains whitening ingredients, it causes my eye area to be dry. Wondered if I should have the Water Bank series instead. I try to use minimal amount now and just apply iit once daily.
Etude House Collagen Eye Mask
This is from another korean brand called, Etude House. Pretty famous here in Singapore. I bought a pack of 20 of this eye masks in Incheon Airport back in May 2011 where I had a transit on my flight from San Francisco back to Singapore. Its really cheap, like around S$1 per piece. My aunt bought from the streets and its a little more expensive, around S$1.20 per piece. But its still very cheap compared to Singapore. I like the texture of the eye masks, thicker that the others i used before.
A couple of weeks ago, I brought my mum to the Laneige Facial at Paragon and we bought the Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner (Moisture) -its actually a toner and White Plus Renew Purifying Mask. Will fill in the pictures at a later date! :)
Next up I will be sharing my collection of facial masks! Stay tuned! :)

    1. Hi there!

The facial starts with a skin analysis at the counter and the SA will explain about your skin concerns, such as lack of moisture, fine lines etc. We were then brought to a room on the 3rd or 4th floor in Metro. It is sort of like a small meeting room. Basically it is a makeshift one covered in curtains, so the environment was below average. There were 2 beds separated by a curtain. This facial promotion was to promote their White Plus Renew line so all products used was from this line. There was no extractions done, just the simple cleansing, toning, massaging and stuff. The massaging was not bad though. the therapists then left us to ourselves after they applied the purifying mask on us. My skin felt brighter overall. I paid $90 for this facial for 2 persons which is fully redeemable for Laneige products. Overall experience was 7/10 as there wasn't any extractions done and the environment wasn't relaxing.
Hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
      Thanks for viewing :)
